MATTHEW J. NOVAK

Background

Mr. Novak is originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  He has been practicing law since 2005 after moving to Chicago and passing the bar exam.  His early work experience involved family law, contract law, business law and minor criminal matters.  He has been with the firm since 2006 and has primarily focused on the area of workers’ compensation litigation.  He has handled all aspects of workers’ compensations cases, from pre-trial hearings at the arbitration level up to Appellate Court oral arguments.
